Esther was a young virgin who was sent by God to one day save His people who were living in the vast kingdom of King Ahasuerus. She was a beautiful and kind person who obtained favor from the custodian of the young women who were brought to the palace. He admired her so much that he blessed her in many ways. He advised her of things she could do so the king would take notice of her. However, it was her own wonderful personality, her gentle ways and her wise thoughts that were gifted to her at her birth by God, that ultimately won the king's heart. As you study her story in the coming weeks, take note of how she acted and reacted. If you are impressed by anything she did or said, perhaps it would be a good idea totry to emulate her kindness to gain favor from everyone around you. Of course. your primary goal should be to obtain God's Favor so that one day, when you meet Him face to Face, He will say to you, "Well done, good and faithful servant." -Georgia
