The entire book of Job, Matthew 4:1-1

I’ve always believed that God gives His strongest soldiers the most difficult battles.

When you’re going through a challenge, a trial, or burden — and you’re left with absolutely nothing, it’s a sign that God has something extraordinary for you.

You don’t have to take my word for this — ask anyone who’s ever suffered and now shines for the Lord.

Take a look at Job, for one. All at once, Job lost everything. His beautiful children, his servants, thousands of cattle, sheep, oxen. He was covered in boils and still he praised God.

Do you think he passed the test?

When Jesus was tested in the desert, Satan tried to convince Him to sin against God. To turn rocks into bread. To test God the Father by jumping off a cliff. To worship him instead.

If you think about it, the same lies Jesus endured aren't any different from what we go through in life today.

We suffer, hunger, thirst for God to answer our prayers — and when He is silent is when Satan tries to attack, to convince us to worship him instead.

If Jesus had even entertained the devil on any of his lies, if He had committed a sin, He would not have been ready for the Cross. God allowed the devil to test His own Son to see if in His human flesh form, He would fall from the Father's grace.

Jesus couldn’t have died for us on the Cross if He had sinned.

God gives His strongest soldiers the most difficult battles because He has something extraordinary planned for them.

What tests are you facing now? What lies are surrounding you every day?

Don’t fall for these temptations! Press into Jesus and give Him your cross to carry because the Father has promised something extraordinary is coming your way.

Peace be with you, my gorgeous faithful sister.
